TEE planning for LAA

Learning objectives:
- Assessment of LAAO: morphology, determining artefacts V thrombus
- Device sizing: using 2D, 3D
- Live acquisition of 3D dataset, and on-cart analysis
- Workstation analysis (using off-line software of 3D datasets: assessment of LAAO morphology, determining landing zone and device sizing)
- Trans-septal puncture: assessment of atrial septal anatomy, imaging views 2D/3D and ideal position for TSP

CT planning for LAA

Learning objectives:
- To understand the basic principles of CT analysis for LAA closure with multiplanar image reconstruction and 3D volume rendering.
- To learn how to perform a CT analysis for planning a LAAO procedure
- Assess LAA device size and landing zone
- Identify C-arm angulation for implantation of device
- Assess simulated TEE and ICE views
- How to plan septal puncture.
