CSI FOCUS MITRAL VALVE INTERVENTIONS
developed by: Dee Dee Wang, Ralph Stephan von Bardeleben, Thomas Modine & Burkhard Mackensen
CSI Focus Mitral valve interventions will take a 3 part look at current and future state of the art mitral valve interventions. The sessions will start with step-by-step procedural overviews from how to build a mitral valve program to imaging pearls for guiding complex anatomy, to discussion and debates on what to consider for patient-specific anatomical device selection. Current and future technologies from first-in-human implants will be debuted with live-cases presented under the guidance of an international team of experts. We will discuss the increasing number of transcatheter mitral leaflet repair techniques, including the latest data, available devices, their indications for use and how they may be implanted. Next the increasing number of transcatheter mitral valve replacement techniques will be explored, with an update in the growing experience of valve in valve and valve in ring approaches as well as the new valve in native valve technologies. This session will conclude with multiple case-based heart team presentations evaluating the complexities and timing of integration of care for patients with multi-valvular heart disease.
Join us for one day to attend the Mitral valve interventions workshop or you could also take advantage of the opportunity to stay for the full 4-day congress.
