Dear colleagues,

It is with great pleasure that we formally invite you to join CSI Focus LAA & PFO Tokyo taking place on October 16-17, 2021 in Tokyo, Japan, organized in collaboration with the Structure Club Japan. Led by directors Teiji Akagi, Hidehiko Hara, Shakeel Qureshi and Horst Sievert, the scientific program will provide you with a comprehensive overview of LAA and PFO closure including indications, utility of invasive and non-invasive imaging, step-by-step procedural guidance, and tips and tricks from leading experts in the field.

The congress is designed to meet the needs of interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, anesthesiologists, imaging specialists, nurses, technicians and everyone else who is part of the LAA or PFO closure team or involved in stroke prevention. Learn how to deal with complications from experienced operators and bring along your challenging cases for discussion with your peers and renowned international faculty.
Our educational program includes live and/or recorded cases, hands-on training opportunities and focuses on maximizing engaging interactions, in-depth discussions and networking opportunities for all participants with a specific focus on the Asia Pacific region.
We look forward to seeing you in Tokyo!
Teiji Akagi, M. Edip Gurol, Hidehiko Hara, Shakeel A. Qureshi, Horst Sievert

“The HOW heart dissection lab was very useful and fun. Most of us haven't touched a heart since first year of med school, so this was very useful in helping to clarify anatomy and how some of these devices actually work.”
