The LAA closure focus workshop is part of CSI Frankfurt 2025, the leading conference on catheter interventions in congenital, structural and valvar heart disease and heart failure, which will take place June 18 - 21, 2025 in Frankfurt, Germany.
The program focuses on left atrial appendage (LAA) closure and occluder therapy, featuring detailed workshops on devices like WATCHMAN FLX, AMULET, Lambre, Omega, and emerging technologies. Sessions cover new data for 2024/2025, procedural planning, imaging techniques (TEE and CT), live case demonstrations, and post-procedural complication management. Discussions also explore the interplay between different devices, operator perspectives, and innovations in design and functionality. A panel discussion evaluates next-generation devices, and emerging technologies such as Laminar, Conformal, and Stroke Shield are introduced. The workshops aim to provide comprehensive insights into current and future LAA closure strategies.
