Interventional cardiology is one of the fastest growing fields in medicine. There are more and more methods for treating patients with what were formerly highly invasive surgical procedures by less and less invasive means. This is especially true for the field of congenital, structural and valvular heart disease, where the treatment of all kinds of intracardiac defects, various causes of heart failure, valve repair and replacement can now be performed with new transformational technologies.

CSI Focus: Device Development and its dedicated expert faculty have continued to evolve the program. Bringing together cross-functional experts to discuss the journey from innovative idea to viable company and/or investor exit, special emphasis will be given to funding challenges and practical solutions. Case examples will focus primarily on the above-mentioned fields; however, other novel therapies will also be included.
